Des Moines Bluegrasss

This post is about something different than apparel today, it's about a new group that my brothers started call Des Moines Bluegrass.  Ok, I might have helped a little but they have really hit the ground running with this project.  Right now Des Moines Bluegrass is hosting a bi-monthly bluegrass jam at Mars Cafe in Des Moines.  Last night was the 1st jam and I have to say that it was quite inspiring to see musicians that haven't even met before make such beautiful music.  Maybe someday I'll get out there with my mandolin!

Acanthus Accessories

We've been having so much making new items, like the dog hoodies, that we decided to try out some accessories. Here are the 1st bags... They're American Apparel denim duffel bags with an Acanthus bee patch. The bags have a zip pouch on the outside and an inside pocket. I will have them available in several colors in a couple of weeks at Vitae and on Etsy for $40.

Acanthus Apparel in Philly

Joshua is in Philadelphia right now at the Philadelphia Tattoo Art Convention with a lot of Acanthus Apparel Merchandise. The convention started yesterday and he sold out of a couple of items... so find his booth today so you don't miss out on anything else. He still has some scarves left and art prints along with plenty of Indian and Abe Lincoln t-shirts. Check out the photo of his fully stocked booth below.

Acanthus Dog Hoodies

That's right... I now have dog hoodies. American Apparel zip-up dog hoodies. These hoodies are guaranteed to make your dog look even cuter than it already is. I am working on getting some good photos so I can make these available on Etsy but for now they will be at Vitae and available by custom order. These are just 2 of my new dog models, Bodo and Louis. Bodo is wearing the small red hoodie with the hourglass on the hood and Louis is rockin' the grey hoodie in a small with the bee and crossbones print.

New Goods
